I believe that the Thomas and Cuthbert Bullitt that are buried in Cave Hill Cemetery are the sons of William Bullitt and Mary Burbridge. William is the half-brother of the Thomas and Cuthbert m. Helen Scott in question.
It is quite confusing. "Cuthbert" is a Harrison family name, BTW. Cuthbert m. Helen Scott is the ancestor of the Oxmoor family. Cuthbert m. Ann Neville's descendants lived along Brownsboro Rd. and up towards Harrods Creek. Thomas m. Diana Moore Gwathmey is the one related to the Clark family. Thomas owned property on the west side of downtown Louisville. His line was primarily female, and many seem to have moved out of KY.
BTW, there is a goof piece of historical fiction, "The Good Journey" by Michaela Gilcrest, that is a fictional account of the life of Thomas and Diana's daughter,Mary Ann Bullitt m. Gen. Henry Atkinson. Very well written.
