We've been gone on vacation and I just got your message. Evidently your Reuben BUMP is a different one from ours. Ours was the one in Chenango Co., NY....but they must be related on back somehow.

I, too, have the BUMP line back to Eduard BUMPUS, but have not been able to find the name of our Reuben BUMP, Sr.'s 1st wife. He md. again later in life to the widow of Henry Evans, but they had no children.

Because of the naming of children in later generations, I "think" that Reuben's 1st wife (the mother of his children) "might have been" a LYMAN, WARNER or MORRISON, but have been unable to find any clues as to her name.
