Hello Ms. Diane French,
I was doing some genealogy and found your posting. It just happens that I know the name but it is not the same person. The James William Bump that I knew when I lived in Mt. Carmel long ago was a son to William Vern Bump. Perhaps my friend that passed away in 1979 was a grandson or a nephew to him. I know that my friend is buried in Antioch cemetery. I hope that this helps. Do you have other information on this family? I would love to help my friend by keeping his memory and family alive by tracing and recording the history of his family tree.
