Scotland to America in 1600s; NC, IN early 1800s
I have a book on the history of Randolph Co. Indiana, which has information on a Bunch family;
"The Bunch family originated in Scotland and came to America in the 1600s.They settled in North Carolina, with some of the offspring coming west and settling near Whitewater in Wayne Co., IN in the early 1800s.One was Richard Bunch (the great great grandson of Paul Bunch) who purchased part of what is known as the Bunch HOmestead Farm located on U.S. 36 near the Ohio Stateline.Paul was b. 1695."
The rest of the article is about the family in Randolph Co. and was submitted to the book by John Bunch.I will send a copy of the article to anyone who can e-mail me a home address.I am not researching these people and have no further information.
