In the 1890's the family lived on Gold St. in Akron. It would have been nice to have the info. from the 1890 census, but I understand that most of the Ohio records were lost in a fire in D.C.
Since my first posting I acquired Harmon's death certificate, his dob was actually 7/16/1838, in Ellsworth, OH. His wife, Mary L. Heller, was the informant, and apparently she did not know his parents' names. So that remains a mystery.
If you have Bunts/Buntz/Bunce/Bunch in your line, please drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org (note only one L).
I will be glad to share any information I have on your branch.
