Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Further research suggests his name was Louis E., and that it sometimes was recorded as Lewis. He was b. 1871 OH, was in Asheville, Buncombe Co., N.C. in 2/1907, and died bfr 1910. In the 1910 census his mother, Mary, reported that of her 4 children, 2 were living. We know that Marvin & Charles lived near her. So Edward & Louis are the two who died bfr 1910.
I did not find Louis in either the N.C. or OH census index for 1910. But, Heritagequest doesn't do a soundex search, just exact spelling.
Any help with the mysterious Uncle Louis would be appreciated.
