February 6, 1953 - Harry E. Weaver
Harry E. Weaver, 66, of Pokagon township, died this morning at the Lee Memorial hospital here.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m., from the McLauchlin Funeral home here, with the Rev. Lyman Ellis, pastor of the Pokagon Methodist church officiating. Burial will be at Riverside cemetery in Dowagiac.
Born May 9, 1887 in Chicago, Mr. Weaver was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Weaver.
On Oct. 9, 1909 he was married to Lucille Knapp, who survives him.
Mr. Weaver was a member of the Modern Woodman's lodge, the Royal Neighbors and the Community Grange of Summerville.
For the past seven years, he had been employed by the Dowagiac Farmers' Co-op. Before that he had been employed by the City laundry here for 41 years.
