Can't help with Pearl but below may be of interest.
1-2 years ago I discovered in the Akld library on fiche a register for NZ immigrants of scottish birth. There were some Bunyans who I thought were my husbands line. I got in touch with the person who had completed them.

Her father was I think Alexander Bunyan and in my notes I have something about a Pearl Marshall Bunyan(adopted daughter) - not quite sure - I think of his parents, born Glasgow Nov 1917. I have noted down that she had children David Alexander Bunyan born 1938 and then sons Alan and Ian (but with the bunyan surname - perhaps these are the same people. Not all quite the same but very similar.


If in fact she was adopted your lineage could take another turn - good luck!
