Dear John Bunyan

My Great Great grandfather through the maternal line is Bishop Colenso.

My Grandmother,Angela Colenso became a Thelwall when she married.

I have an old photograph of the Bishop with his children and his wife Sarah Frances Colenso nee Bunyan.

I'm wondering if yours and my family through Sarah are related to the famous John Bunyan of 'Pilgrims Progress' fame?

I seem to recall that there was some mention by my Grandmother when she was alive, that this was a fact. Among the family photographs she left, there was a copy of a painting of John Bunyan.
