Dear Ann:

Once again, are you related to John Cunningham? I would be grateful if you got me in contact with your cousin. The info you offered was good, but didn't really help me. Oral history says James was murdered sometime after the war, but it is one of the misteries that we are trying to solve. Francis Franklin also died after the war, but we don't know how. Oral history says that James P. was "well to do", but we wonder where the money came from, because he had nothing before the war. He may have been murdered for his money.
My grandfather said all the brothers went to fight and it split the family down the middle. The women had to fend for themselves.
If you have anyone that you think I should contact please tell me. I do have questions pertaining to the Cooks.
Thanks for the help.

Rob Cunningham Huling
