The Will of John BURDGE referred to in the above post was written in 1821 & admitted for Probate in 1830.This makes the presumed date of death closer to 1830, than your 1821.Also, the Will specifically names him as a JOHN, not Jonathan.
Also, I have a birth date of 1782 for his daughter, Deborah, so his birth year of ca 1765 would be a little late to produce a marriage/child by 1782. Deborah married 1) Elisha MORRIS (d. 1803) & m2) Jacob LIPPINCOTT in 1806.She is my ancestor.
The data on the Pine Robbers is still being assembled, but they were Tory sympathizers, raiding settlements in NJ, running to cover among the allied families still living in the NY area.There were many bands of bandits, the PR being one of the groups.
I have no data on Native American lineage.
