Thanks for the information you sent. Do you happen to know if "Ole Rue" (my mother called him that) had a brother named Jeremiah? At this moment I would be unable to join this society. It sounds so very interesting.
A distant cuzzy and I have found a Jeremiah Burford around the same time as "Old Rue" in around Erie Co. NY. We were wondering if they could possibly? happen to be brothers? After all it seems that family names did run in the family and Jeremiah has been one of these names. Thank you again. Bonne
