AN UPDATE ON THE MYSTERY THAT IS STILL A MYSTERY :)

I've been trying to find out what happened to my Great Aunt Gladys. As you can see through my previous requests, my Mom nor any of her siblings ever knew her. I happened to locate my Mom's cousin in Birmingham who is in her 80's and we all had a wonderful conversation about the Aunt Gladys mystery. Her Mother is Aunt Gladys Sister, Aunt Maggie. Mom's cousin said it had to be back in the late 1920's to mid 1930's when she remembered seeing this large casket roll into her living room. She said as a little girl all she can remember were the elders saying that Gladys had married an abusive man. She said at one point Gladys was living in Detroit Michigan with him and when she passed away he took her only living child, a girl named Loreen, Loraine? and had given her up for adoption in Tennessee. I now know my Aunt Gladys was buried in Birmingham, Alabama. I have no clue on her married name. I do show Gladys' parents were buried in Forest Hill Cemetery through their death certificates. I would like to see what all information I can come up with on my Great Aunt Gladys (married name, date of birth, date of death) and if possible what happened to her. Any and all information someone can assist me with would be most obliged.
Sincerely,
Sunshine Schwarz
