I just started looking into the Burgess Family background and my wife is a descendant of John William Burgess b. 12 Nov 1864 in Pulaski Tn (although I think this is an error and it may be
Kentucky) and d. 03 Feb, 1937, Cleburne, Texas. and Molly Francis Noles b 25 Aug 1878 in Birmingham, Kleburne, Al and d. 25 Oct 1965 Cleburne, Texas. I can trace the Noles side of the family back to the 1700s but the earliest I can find for John William is that his mother might possibly be Alice Garret born in 1840.
Does anyone have John William Burgess in their family tree and can you help with the ancestors.
John William Burgess, his children were Herbert Vergel b. , William Archie b. 1898, Myrtle Leonoria b. 1900, Emmett E. b. 1901, Fannie Octavia b. 1902, Robert b. 1907, James Fred b. 1908, Eugene Albert b. 1909, Rebecca Lucille b. 1912, Laura Estelle b 1913, Dorothy Gertrude b. 1918, Johnnie Juanita b. 1920, William Lee b. 1923 and J.Y. Burgess b. 1926.
