Mary daughter of Dr. Benjamin, born 1786, MA?

Hello:

I'm a descendant of one Mary A Burgess b. 12 Jul 1786, who married Steven Whitney, son of Gen Josiah Whitney Jr. Her father was apprently a Dr. Benjamin Burgess. No info on her mother.

I've seen posts on this forum about another of Josiah Whiteny's children, Sarah, marrying a Loammi Burgesss. Wondering of Sarah and Loammi could have been brother and sister, marrying a brother/sister pair of Whitneys.

In any case, I'm trying to trace this Burgess crowd a bit more.

Any help would be appreciated. (I have plenty of info on their descendants, including the very famous philanthropist Whitneys of New York.
