Please forgive me for posting this information which is actually INCORRECT, WRONG, WRONG INFORMATION POSTED MYMANY ON INTERNET AND now WE KNOW THE TRUCH...

George Hobbs b. abt 1782-4 NC, married Mary _________Unknown in probably Wake Co., NC or nearby before 1800 Census. Mary was NOT born in 1809, and we do not know her death date. The 1809 birth date actually is the birht and death tate of George and Mary's daughter, Elizabeth Hobbs who married James Arnold, probably in Georgia. They moved on to Clay Co. Ala. where Elizabeth and James Arnold are buried.

We have NOW (September 2012) found access to Solomon Hobbs BIBLE(AND HAVE MORE INFORMATION on the live of George Hobbs before he took his family to Monroe Co. Ga.

SOMEONE READ A CERTAIN PAGE IN THE FIRST HOBBS AND RELATED BOOK, vOL. 1, AND MADE NOTES. THEY WERE READING ON THE PAGE WHERE it is said "...George Franklin Hobbs married Sarah Webb Grant, and her parents were Joseph Grant and Mary Martha Buckhalter..." This person got home and wrote "George Hobbs and Mary Martha Buckhalter were parents of George Franklin Hobbs."

ACTUALLY George Franklin Hobbs was the grandson of George Hobbs and the son of Solomon S. Hobbs, the oldest son of George Hobbs born in Wake Co.., NC.(NO HE IS NOT FROM SAMPSON CO., NC, He was from WAKE CO. NC..

GOODLUCK, I'm sorry I had to tell you-all , Jeannine Hobbs Richards
