Is it possible that Elijah and the Cherokee wife had a son named William born abt 1834?
If so,he married Julia Worden in LaSalle Co.,Illinois in 1864.They later settled in Mo. They were my ggrandparents.Their son Delbert (Adelbert) Elijah was my grandpa.
Any chance we could be talking about the same family????
