David Burns sr was born 1733 in Amelia County,Va.,went through Wilkes Co.,N.C. and is the founding father of the early Laurens County Burns.Known sons:Benjamin,Robert,David jr.,John,Joseph,James and Massey.He died about 1804 in Laurens County,leaving no estate.James Burns married Elizabeth Franks.John Burns married Elizabeth Lawless.David jr.married Margaret "Peggy"Franks.I have lots more-what do you need????Pat
