Have you come across any information about a Greenbury Burnett, son of a Mathew Burnett, both born in Kentucky. Greenbury probably was born around 1808 and was in Breckinridge County in the late 1820's (son Martin VanBuren Burnett born there in 1827) and early 1830's. Greenbury was in Hancock County, Kentucky, from about 1833 to 1849 and in Perry County, Indiana, in 1850 (Deer Creek Township). He was married to Nancy Gibson and Lucinda Stevens. I am trying to find out whether he is the father of my great great-grandmother, Martha Jane Burnett, born on 7 Apr 1841 in Hawesville, Hancock County, Kentucky. She married Joseph Tomlinson, on 19 June 1859 in Cannelton, Perry County, Indiana. I have no information as to when or where Greenbury or Mathew died although Mathew was in Hancock County in 1841. Any help would be appreciated.
