Jeremiah Burchett wife and Children in Tallapoosa ALA 1850

I'm trying to make a connection to my Susan Lurany Burchett. There are two Jeremiahs living in Tallapoosa at the time Jeremiah b 1807 South Carolina and the other is b abt 1786 South carolina. Susan was b 1831 in Georgia and married to John D Ballentine in Tallapoosa 1848. She does have a son named Jeremiah so I think I'm on the right track. The problem is that the gen forums and family trees I've researched do not have a Susan as their child.
