Opal Leach went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2003. She was born August 18, 1923 to Ernest and Mary Burpo in Durant, OK. Opal was welcomed into Heaven by her parents and brothers, Lloyd, Truman, Paul and Howard Burpo. She was a lifetime member of the Nazarene Church and presently at East Terrell Hills Nazarene. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Edward Leach; daughter, Jolene Isaacs and husband Charles; sons, Pete Wells and wife Margaret, Steve Wells and wife Betsy, Bill Leach and wife Loretta, Mike Leach; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and sister, Ruby Kendall of Oklahoma City. The family will receive visitors at 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 3, 2003 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 4, 2003 at East Terrell Hills Nazarene Church followed by Burial at Fort San Houston National Cemetery.
