In the 1840 census, there is an Edward Burrage in Autauga County, Alabama and also an Edward Burrage in Montgomery County, North Carolina.

Edward Burrage who died in Winston County, Mississippi is listed on the 1850 Mortality Schedule as 84 years of age. He would have been about 74 in the 1840 Census.

Neither of the 1840 census Burrage households (in Autuga, AL or Montgomery, NC) have a man of that age (70 and under 80) listed.

Are either of these Edwards connected to your line of Burrages?
