Deborah, and other Bussey researchers, I too am puzzled about Benjamin's wife's name. Mosely or Gardner. I see the first name as Mahulda in several places all the time. I think I have figured out where it is getting confused (on first name). I found a document (handwritten) in Maud Kelly's material at Samford Univ. in Birmingham that lists Benjamin b. Jan 3, 1828 as son of Edward Moody Bussey. It has Edward's wife listed as Malinda Moseley, b. Mch 27, 1805. If you look at the Malinda (handwritten) it looks like Mahulda. This name keeps being given as wife of Benjamin, his son. This probably doesnt clear it up but more food for thought. I can mail a copy of this document to anyone that wants it.
