I've got some military information about Bennett but and a little info about the Whites. I would really like to prove or disprove (preferably prove) that Bennett is the father of my Edward, the one that married Julia Ann Wheeler. Do you know where the families lived or any of their church affiliations? I would appreciate any help there.

In one of my "piles" I kept some information about the Bussey/Colgate connection. I think it had more to do with the Colgates. I think it was in a book about families of Baltimore County. I hope it was because they are good about listing all of their sources. I will find it, make copies, and get it to you. Email me your address and/or phone number. Are you here in Maryland or elsewhere?
