BUSEY, JOHN-Montgomery County, Maryland, Instrument: lease Liber H Folio: 391...
MF#0014207-Maryland Land Records, Montgomery County 1777-1863.

Looking at this microfilm document, it appears that John Busey was active prior to 1800 and after 1777 as many of the listed Viers conducting land transactions lived during that time period and their land transaction numbers fall within the range of that listed for John Busey.

I am still trying to find a positive connection for Lorana Bucey who married Nehemiah Viers probably around 1755-1759. I have no idea of the above referred John Busey, but he could have been a brother or a nephew to Lorana Bucey. There is some indication that Lorana Bucey had a sister by the name of Dianah Bucey in Frederick or Montgomery County and a brother, Griffith Bucey, who lived in the parish of Kingston in the county of Surry in the Island Carpenter, Jamaica and named Dianah and Lorana in his will dated January 14, 1773 (Will not confirmed yet).

Maybe, someone has info relating to John Busey's parents, brother sisters or how he landed in Montgomery County. If so, many of us would really appreciate the tip.

Thank you.

Bill Viers
