I am also researching a George Bussey (later changed to Bursey), different date of birth but same location. George Bussey/Bursey's family is believed to have moved from Port de Grave to the Change Islands. George had two brothers that are known: Jacob and Thomas.

I suspect your George's father and mine were brothers as naming children after siblings was common (and confusing to researchers) Not confirmed at this point my George's father believed to be Isaac - any of these names in your family tree?
