Chris,

Hargham is/was a little village near Attleborough. Martha Bussey married George Lake in Hargham 10 November 1838. Both were then resident in that village. George Lake was born Tottington 1813. The marriage cert shows Martha's father as Jeremiah Bussey, labourer.

The 1841 census shows George Lake age 28 Ag lab b Norfolk
Martha Lake 30 b Norfolk
Rebecca Bussey 11, Not b Norfolk (I believe she was b Botesdale, Suffolk)
John Lake 2 b Norfolk

Martha died 19 March 1844 Attleborough, age 34, wife of George Lake, labourer

That's about all I know.

Any help appreciated

Trevor
