Hi, Ferrol! In your post you mention Rev. Amos Smith, father of Nancy Smith Bussey. Do you know anything about Rev Amos' other children? Would you know whether he might have had a daughter, Margaret ("Peggy"), who m. Edward's brother Jesse Bussey? I descend from the latter couple through their son, Edward, father of Bennett. I read that Rev. Amos Smith had 7 sons in War of 1812, and several daughters. It has been my hunch that Margaret may have been Nancy's sister, but never have found any data to that effect. I apologize for this long a time having passed since your posting. I have been plagued for past 3 or 4 years with serious heart problems which kept me from indulging myself in family genealogy.
