CHARLES EDWARD GORDY b. 9-22-1868 married ELFLEDA (Elfreda) ROYAL 11-26-1891. They had one child, ELSIE, who married W. LANDRUM BUSSEY. Elfleda died young, and he married Lizzie Bobbett. They had 4 children.
I got this info from THE HISTORY OF CHATTAHOOCHEE COUNTY, GEORGIA by N. K. Rogers. Elfleda was a friend of my grandmother, no kin. I do have a picture of Charles and Elfreda. I would send if you would like a copy.
I also have an invitation to the wedding of SUSIE R. MCCOOK to WILLIAM M. GORDY on 10-14-1896 in Cusseta, GA.
