I am searching for the ancestors of Jane Bussey that married John Baker on Feb. 22, 1838 in Meriwether Co., Ga. listed in Marriage Book A page 88.
I have reason to believe she is my ancestor.
1850 census Meriwether Co., GA. list John Baker head of house age 32, Jane wife age 30, John A. son age 8, Lousia daug age 8, Nabissa daug. age 6, Narrisa daug age 5,
R M L son age 5, Mary E. daug age 1. Living in house with them Francis L Bonner age 23, Mary F age 6/12.
My GGrandmother was Louisa/Lousia Baker b. Dec. 11, 1841 and d. Oct. 25, 1913. According to my aunt and uncle she had a sister named Mary Eason Baker. Both of these ages fit with the ages of the two children on John Baker's census record.
I would love to share info if you can help me.
Thank you
Sue
