In Reply to: FRANK BUSSEY b, 1882 KS by Scott Haney of 822

I am a granddaughter of John Frank Bussey born in Kansas in 1881. His mother was born in Detriot, Michigan and her parents where from Scotland. His parents where born in Canada who later moved to Kansas. I have found out in search of the Bussey name that my grandfather had married 2 other women prior to my grandmother. First wife was Carrie "Dollie" Sankie they had a daughter name Viola. At the same time I was doing the search I found out he had another wife name Lulu Haney and they had a daughter also name Delores. The name sounded familar to me because I have heard my mother mention the name when I was little. She was trying to contact a Delores which would have been her half sister. John Frank went to the Philippines he married my grandfather and the had 4 kids 3girls 1 boy. He died in 1942 during the Japanese war. He is burried in the family plot. My grandmother passed away in 1999. We never knew any thing about the Bussey side just my grandmothers side of the family. If you have any info of Delores such as if she has family I would like to know. I have been told that a lot of the Bussey's are living up and down the coast of California. I moved out of San Diego, Ca. 6 years ago and moved to Arizona. I would like to know or get to know some of my lost relatives I never knew.
