This Malachi Bussey (1825-1864) and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Brown, also had a son named Henry Garland Bussey b. 27 Sept 1852 in Pike Co. GA. On 1 Nov. 1877 He married Dayton Pendleton Haynes in Gayston Co. TX. They emmigrated first to Oregon City, Oregon, and then were among the first white families ever to settle in Klamath County, Oregon. Dayton's family traveled with them and established the town of Haynesville which later came to be known as Lorella, Oregon. Henry Garland Bussey was my great-grandfather and I can supply much more information to anyone who is interested.
