Help! I can't find any records as to the origin of Ann BUSSEY, born about 1826 in Knayton, North Riding, Yorkshire, probably the Knayton near Thirsk rather than the one near Pannal. She married Thomas MORTON in Thornton le Street 27 Nov 1845 and they farmed many years at Green Hedges Farm in Bagby, Yorkshire. They had three children: William George (b 1854), Annie Elizabeth (b 1856) and Eleanor M[ary?] (b 1859). Annie Elizabeth and Eleanor married two brothers named KIRBY. Ann Bussey Morton died on the 27th of November 1902 in Bagby. A lookup in the appropriate parish records (Thirsk? or Leake) would be really, really helpful as I live in Sussex and can't easily travel up to Yorkshire.
