Ed, I as born in Syracuse and my Grandfather Charles may have been Florences brother. As Catherine has told you Elizabeth(lizzy) married Thomas Dineen and had 4 children, all born between 1890-1900. Thomas is listed in the 1900 US census for the Town of Onadaga, Onadaga county,in Central NY. He died somtime between 1900-1910 in Alaska of the "cold lung disease"?? I dont know what he was doing in Alaska I only heard the story from a relative. I new my Aunts Elenor and Evy but never knew Florence she may have past away before I was around. I know that Elenors husband was kill in WW2. Charles Dineen had 3 children William (my father, Dewitt,NY)Evy (Fix, Dewitt,NY) and Mary (Freding, Conn.).By the 1920 census Elezabeth Dineen was listed as head of household and had her sister and kids living with her. Its been a while since i had a chance to continue my search but I plan to follow the census back as far as I can. By the way Elizabeth was born in Chicago.I will get my records and try to fill in some more dates for you IF you think we may be related.
