Hi Brian
It was good to hear from you. I have been researching for 18 months and have hit a brickwall - if you have any information I will be thrilled.
I have information back to -
John (abt 1795) in Street, Somerset? married Mary (abt 1801) my GGG Grandparents. Their children were
Edwin (abt 1826
Francis (abt 1829)
Caroline (abt 1834)
Eli (abt 1835) my GG Grandfather
George (abt 1837)
all the children were born in the Parish of St Benedict and St JohnGlastonbury
Eli (about 1835) married Emily (nee Trotman) Married 31st May 1857 in Bristol. Their children were
Arthur (abt 1858)
Harry (abt 1860)
Annie (abt 1862)
Albert (abt 1865) my G Grandfather
Alfred (abt 1865)
Minnie (abt 1868)
all the children were born in Bristol
These dates were taken from the 1881 census although the 1871 census
shows a variation in the dates of birth.
It would appear that the majority of the family were boot/shoe makers.
Does this help - I have more information up to date but I don't want to overload you with details. If this information would be helpful please let me know.
Many thanks for looking at this for me.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Linda
