Sorry about misunderstanding of Dolly Byram. She is not listed in the 1840 Franklin County, Tennessee Census.
No Samuel Byram listed in 1830 State Tennessee Census where I found Dolly listed.

Misspellings are common in Census records as the census takers wrote what they heard. What they wrote might be right and it certainly could be wrong.

Franklin County is in Middle Tennessee on the Alabama border. Knox County is in East Tennessee.

I don't have any further information on this particular family.
