Deborah, Samuel Byram, b.1765, Mendham, Morris Co NJ, d.26 Sep 1814, Madison Co AL was the son of Ebenezer Byram III. His Grandmother was Abigal Alden a descendent of John Alden who came to America on the ship Mayflower. Levi Byram, b.6 Jan 1778, Knox Co TN was his brother. This branch of the Byram family started in Plymouth Co. Mass in the 1630's. Ebenezer Byram Sr. took his family to NJ from Mass in 1744. Ebenezer III was born there and then went to TN before the Rev War, while it was still part of NC. This is all in my book, Byrams In America. (
Ebenezer III purchased farms for each child in AL when the land opened in 1808.
About Wm Edwards, Well, I have a Edward William Edwards, who married Mary Ann E. Byram in 1858. Mary was the daughter of Levi Byram, b.1802-3 in Knox Co TN. The Levi mentioned above is his uncle. Does this help?
