I have never read Ramsey's Annals of TN bur my sourse had
"He is mentioned several times in "Annals of E TN" by Ramsey. One quote states "Remote from sources of defense, and exposed on three sides to attack, this settlement (Beaver Creek) was selected as the most vulnerable point. The house of Mr. Byram was attacked and two men fell victims to Cherokee cruelity." Thus this must be the same Ebenezer Byram. I do have copies of my book. It is a hard bound 583, full indexed book with 101 photos. It has all the information that I could collect by 1996. The cost is $45.00. Send a check to John Byram; 6143 Paseo Pueblo Dr.; San Jose, CA; 95120
