Thank you for this info.

Do you know when your John Byram migrated to Mason Co, VA or do you have records of him prior to 1820?
(I don't know when Leon was established??? or by whom???)
I DO know that my Knapp family lived close to Leon; farmed along 13 Mile Creek.

Do you know when/where your John Byram went, after Mason Co, VA?

I may be chasing a nonexistent connection, but collateral lines or migrations sometimes provide clues.

I am very willing to share any information I may have.
I have tried to post most of what I have found re the Byram surname.
