Margaret, I have the information for which you asked. First, we are cousins. Your George Byram is in the Mass branch of the Byram family. George's father was Josiah as you said. Josiah Byram's father was George Byram, then it was another Josiah, then Jessie, then Nicholas III and then Nicholas II and then Nicholas. Nicholas Byram came to Mass. in the 1630's. Jessie's wife was a descendent of Miles Standish of the ship Mayflower. Send me your address and I will xerox pages from the book I have written "Byrams in America, second edition". I only have one child for George, b.1832 who married Josephine Mudock. That child is Edwin Josiah, b-1858. I would like to work with you to fill in this line of the family. There is something I am missing as you said the 1930 census and I have George being born in 1832. Was he 100?
