Cynthia, I do not think that the Indiana "Manuel Byram" and your Manuel Byram are the same. In my book I have two men named Manuel Byram. The oldest, Manuel Newman Byram, was born and died in Sussex Co., NJ. He was born in 1804. He had one daughter named Rebecca Lynn, born in 1826 but she lived in MA and NJ and married Joseph H. Reed.

The second Manuel N. Byram was born 1848, in Indiana. He died in Dearborn Co., IN. He married Evaline Keffer. He was a farmer near Quercus Grove, IN until 1894. They did not have a daughter named Rebecca.

When was your grandmother, Rebecca Byram, born? Who did she marry. Where did they live? What other dates and places do you have?
