My Byram/Biram ancestor as far back as I can locate was a William/John Byram, born ca 1760/1770, who was living in Athens County, OH when he died about 1844. These heirs to his land were named in two separate lawsuits after his death:

William Byram (my great x2 grandfather)War of 1812 he fought for VA
Elizabeth Byram, she may be the dead man's wife
Sylvia Byram Dow, and her husband Warren Dow
John Byram
David Byram
James Byram,
Hannah Byram Roberts/Robbins and her husband Larkins Roberts/Robbins
Susan Byram Hamilton and husband Samuel Hamilton
Sarah Byram Trigg and husband William

I know what happened to William and his family but haven't been able to locate most of the others.

John Biram/Byram married Martha Rood in Athens County and changed his name to Byron, his descendants were found in Jackson County, OH.

What happened to the others and where did William/John born ca 1760-1770 come from? MD or VA have been the most often found states but really no confirmation.
