My search for my O'Cain/Cain/Cane/Kane Family has led me to the marriage of John Cain, b. 01 Sep 1816, VA, m. 05 Apr 1844, Fauquier County, Virginia, Elizabeth Jane Byram, b. 01 Jan 1823. John and Eliza Jane are presumed to have both died and been buried in Edgar County, Illinois.
I am in search of confirmation that John was a son of Thornton O'Cain and information as to who the parents of Eliza Jane, were.
I am a descendant of Emily O'Cain, believed to have been a sister of John.
