Hi Edward, The information you are looking for is in my book "Byrams in America" The parents for James Knox Byram are: James A. Byram, b.6 Mar 1817, Meclenburg CO., NC and Sarah Edda Dyer, b.31 Mar 1822. The line goes back a few generations to James Byrom, b.1687 in Lancashire England and came to Virginia in 1695. There is a Rev war vet in your line. John Byram; 6143 Paseo Pueblo Dr.; San Jose, CA; 95120. The book sells for $45.00 and I pay postage. byramjohn@comcast.net
