Samuel M. Byram, b.17 Jun 1836, Cherokee Co AL, d.26 Mar 1906, Avery, Red River Co TX was the son of Smith L. Byram, b. 1814; Smith was the son of John Byram, b.2 Jan 1792, NC. That is where this branch kind of ends. John Byram was the first postmaster of Byram MS. There are a group of us working on this branch.
