My gt, gt, gt grandfather was John BAYRAM, born 1775 at Pontefract, Yks. There are several variants of the name on census forms, registers etc. and there were two Johns baptised in Pontefract in 1775. There was a John BARHAM, (Jun 5, son of Thomas) and John BYRAM (Dec 4, son of William). The name BYRAM feels more like BAYRAM to me but I cant be sure hes the right John. Do you know anything about the children of William BYRAM (b. 1737 Pontefract)? I know my John was married 1804 Jan 8 to Elizabeth MARSHALL. They had (at least) 3 children baptised at Badsworth YKS, including my gt, gt, grandfather, John, and then they moved to North Lincolnshire where they had (at least) 7 more.
