One of the ancestors I am researching divorced or abandoned his family in Madison Co.,AR and went to CA. It appears he may have married an Indian lady in CA and had additional children.

BLM also has:
Fritts,John A on 12-26-1893 purchased land Siskiyou Co.,CA
(don't know if this is father or son)

By 1900 John Alexander Fritts (sr) is listed in White Co.,AR with his oldest son from his first marriage. We don't know what happened to him after 1900. He might have returned to CA.

I also have not been able to find Julia, John Jr, or Christina after 1880. I do believe that John Jr did have descendants, per the following post (her email address isn't good):

Looking for a John Fritts (Fritz) born in Missiouri around 1824.
Moved to Humbolt County California as a widower, two daughters, Lattie and Dora Fritts (fritz). May be a Sr. with a son John Jr. born into Indian lineage from Happy Camp, California who is my great great grandfather. Other links are John Marmaduke Fritts (Fritz) Pittsburg Pa. and Elizabeth (Lizzie).

I did find two Fritts children in 1900 census Hoopa Valley,Humboldt Co.,CA
Fritts,John 9-1894 5/8 white Klamath Indian
Fritts,Viola 9-1893 5/8 white Klamath Indian

There is also someone listed as Fritz & Millie in 1900 Siskiyou Co.,CA as Klamath Indians.

I have not a clue if these are descendants on my John Alexander Fritts.
