I am looking for info on William Coffman and his wife Sarah (I don't have her maiden name). I do not know where or when they were married. I have them living in Smith River in the 1870 census and he is a widower also in Smith River by the 1880 census. Their two children Mary J. and John William were born before the 1880 census, However, John William is the only one listed in the 1880 census. I am trying to find what happened to Sarah. Any info would be helpful.
