Researching the following in Del Norte County, California:
William D. Rexford, b. 1800, d. 1875 Del Norte County. Where was he buried? His wife was --
Laura Ann Hamilton Rexford, b. 1808, d. ca 1885 in either California or Oregon. Their daughter was --
Laura Ann Rexford Bennett, b. ca 1839, d. after 1880 -- when and where? In Oregon or California? Did she marry a Mr. Murray after 1880? She cohabitated with one George Myron Devendorf for at least 10 years, between 1870 and 1880, but after he left her for another woman she disappeared from the records.
Both the above women were in the 1880 census of Smith River, Del Norte County, California. Any leads appreciated!
