You may have the cafe name correct as I wasn't involved with the cafe and bar prior to 1967. It's unknown to me exactly what it was like prior to that date. The area of the Antlers Bar was an area serving several bars, the Mermaid and Everetts and a few others. All were Rowdy but back then we had a lot of loggers and fishermen enjoying their off time. I never had the opportunity of being in that area during the day, mainly the nights. Let's put it this way, I wouldn't take myself or my family there for dinner and drinks.
